Hospital, Sacred Heart Hospital and West Florida Regional Medical Center, plus
the Navy Hospital, which cares for military personnel.
Baptist Hospital Baptist Hospital has more than 500 beds and furnishes a full
range of surgical, emergency, critical care and obstetrical services. It is part
of Baptist Health Care, a network of hospitals, nursing homes, ambulatory care
centers and mental health facilities serving the Florida Panhandle and Southern
Alabama.
Sacred Heart Health System Sacred Heart Health System
has 431 beds and serves as a regional center for adults' and children's health
care. It offers a Children's Hospital and Neonatal Intensive Care Nursery, where
premature and critically ill infants receive specialized care.
West Florida Regional Medical Center West Florida
Regional Medical Center offers major services in cardiology, neurology,
ophthalmology, orthopedics and other specialties. With more than 500 beds, it
provides specialized settings for rehabilitation, mental health, coronary and
open heart treatment.
Navy Hospital Navy Hospital provides a full range
of health care services for active duty and retired military personnel and their
family members.
Escambia County Emergency Medical Service The
Escambia County Emergency Medical Services, a county-owned operation, provides
ambulance service throughout the area.
Lakeview Center Lakeview Center, Inc., a part of Baptist Health Care offers a
wide range of mental health services, including crisis stabilization, inpatient
care, outpatient counseling, and day treatment.
